Jake Barnes and his two kids, Sean and Jessie, have moved to Alaska after his wife died. He is a former airline pilot now delivering toilet paper across the mountains. During an emergency delivery in a storm his plane goes down somewhere in the mountains. Annoyed that the authorities aren't doing enough, Jessie and Sean set out on an adventure to find their father with the help of a polar bear which they have saved from a ferocious poacher. Conflict ensues.

Kristin Lehman (born May 3, 1972) is a Canadian actress and dancer known for her roles in the television series Poltergeist: The Legacy, Judging Amy, and The Killing. From 2013 to 2016, she starred as Detective Angie Flynn in the CTV series Motive. In 2018, Lehman played Miriam Bancroft, wife of Laurens Bancroft, in Season 1 of Netflix's Altered Carbon.

Born in Manchester, England, Fraser planned to study aeronautical engineering at London University, but switched to psychology after finding engineering too technical and mathematical. Following university he travelled around the world for a number of years, before settling in the Vancouver area in 1974 and working as an actor. He spent a number of years as director of the Nanaimo Theatre Festival, and as associate director of Vancouver's Fend Players theatre company.
Fraser was also known for his regular television roles as Zack Denny in Bordertown, Mac McDougall in The Heights, Colonel Munro in Hawkeye, and Brian Brewster in Hope Island.

From Wikipedia. Gordon Tootoosis, CM (October 25, 1941 – July 5, 2011) was a First Nations actor of Cree and Stoney descent. Tootoosis was a descendant of Yellow Mud Blanket, brother of the famous Cree leader Pîhtokahanapiwiyin. He was acclaimed for his commitment to preserving his culture and to telling his people's stories. He once said, "Leadership is about submission to duty, not elevation to power." He served as a founding member of the board of directors of the Saskatchewan Native Theatre Company. Tootoosis offered encouragement, support and training to aspiring Aboriginal actors. He served as a leading Cree activist both as a social worker and as a band chief. In Open Season and Boog and Elliot's Midnight Bun Run, Tootoosis was the voice of Sheriff Gordy.
He was awarded membership in the Order of Canada on October 29, 2004. The investiture ceremony took place on September 9, 2005. His citation recognizes him as an inspirational role model for Aboriginal youth. It notes that as a veteran actor, he portrayed memorable characters in movie and television productions in Canada and the United States. Gordon Tootoosis first acting role was in the film Alien Thunder (1974), with Chief Dan George and Donald Sutherland. He portrayed Albert Golo in 52 episodes of North of 60 in the 1990s. He is best known to British audiences for playing the Native American Joe Saugus, who negotiates the purchase of the Middlesbrough Transporter Bridge in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet series 3 (2002). Gordon appeared in the CBC Television mini-series By Way of the Stars with Eric Schweig as Black Thunder and Tantoo Cardinal as Franoise. Byron Chief-Moon is an American actor, choreographer, dancer, playwright, and founder of the Coyote Arts Percussive Performance Association, a dance theatre company. He was born in Carlsbad, California, United States and is a member of the Kainai First Nation of the Blackfoot Confederacy in southern Alberta. Chief-Moon has made appearances in several well-known American and Canadian TV shows (such as MacGyver, North of 60, Stargate SG-1, Da Vinci's Inquest,Highlander: The Series, and appeared on Walker, Texas Ranger, as well as several feature films. He appeared in Disney's White Fang 2: Myth of the White Wolf, a sequel to the 1991 adventure film. Some of his dance theatre pieces have included Possessed, Dancing voices and Voices, as well as Jonesing, an experimental video dance piece. He is also known for his choreography work on the documentary Echoes of the Sisters and the dance film Quest. Chief-Moon plays the Quileute chief Taha Aki in the Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Chief-Moon is a father of three children.
