Shots ring out on a Brooklyn street and suddenly a young girl lies dead on her front steps. The killer's name is Zooman (Khalil Kain), and though dozens of neighbors saw the unintentional shooting, no one is willing to come forward with information. A native of Jacksonville, Texas, his first major film appearance was in Ghostbusters as the mayor's aide (1984). He played Earl Little in the Spike Lee-directed movie Malcolm X (1992).
Hollis died in New York City from complications of diabetes. He had no children.

Kasi Lemmons (born Karen Lemmons; February 24, 1961) is an American film director, screenwriter, and actress. She made her directorial debut with Eve's Bayou (1997), followed by Talk to Me (2007), Black Nativity (2013), Harriet (2019), and Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody (2022). She also directed the Netflix limited series Self Made (2020), and an episode of ABC's Women of the Movement (2022).
She is also known as an actress having started her career with roles in commercials with McDonald's and Levi's. She made her film debut in Spike Lee's School Daze (1988). She continued acting in Vampire's Kiss (1989), The Silence of the Lambs (1991), and Candyman (1992).

Joe Lala (November 3, 1947 – March 18, 2014) was an American musician and actor, best known for voicing various characters in many different shows and movies targeted towards children and families. Outside of voice acting, and acting as a whole, Lala co-founded the American rock band Blues Image in 1966, which he was apart of until his death in 2014.
Vicellous Reon Shannon is a native of Memphis, Tennessee. He is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Lesra Martin in the 1999 film The Hurricane, and Keith Palmer, the son of presidential candidate David Palmer in the Fox television series 24. Vicellous also played in the 2006 film Annapolis.
Raised in Orange County, California, Shannon was a promising high school baseball player until being sidelined by a severely injured hamstring. He took an interest in acting and began taking the two-hour bus ride to Laguna Hills where he studied acting with R.J. Adams at The Actors Workshop, performing chores at the facility in lieu of tuition. His breakthrough role came a few years later in the television series Dangerous Minds.
