When two unemployed telephone pranksters decide to use their vocal "talents" to impersonate a Chicago mob boss and curry favor with organized crime in New York, the trouble begins. It isn't long before Johnny and Kamal (the "Jerky Boys" of crank call fame) are wanted by the local mafia, the police, and their neighbor.

John Gerard Brennan "Johnny" Brennan (born December 1, 1961 in New York City, New York, U.S.) is an American actor, film writer, and voice actor. He is a member of the Jerky Boys; a prank call duo with Kamal Ahmed from 1989 to 2001, and restarted by Brennan in 2006.
Kamal Ahmed (born May 7, 1966), usually called Kamal, is an Bangladeshi American comedian and former member of the Jerky Boys prank phone calling group. He has acted in and directed several films, including Rapturious, completed in 2006.
Alan Wolf Arkin (March 26, 1934 – June 29, 2023) was an American actor, director, musician and singer. He was known for starring in such films as Wait Until Dark, The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming, Minions: The Rise of Gru, The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter, Catch-22, The In-Laws, Edward Scissorhands, Glengarry Glen Ross, Marley & Me, Argo and Little Miss Sunshine, for which he won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2006. He was the father of actors Adam Arkin, Anthony Arkin, and Matthew Arkin.
William Edward Hickey (September 19, 1927 – June 29, 1997) was an American actor. He was best known for his Oscar-nominated role as Don Corrado Prizzi in the John Huston 1985 film Prizzi's Honor, as well as the voice of Dr. Finklestein in Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993).

Vincent Pastore (born July 14, 1946) is an Italian-American actor, often cast as a mobster and best known for the role of Salvatore "Big Pussy" Bonpensiero on The Sopranos.
After wartime naval service, Alan North began his show business career as a stage manager in New York. He first worked on Broadway in "Plain and Fancy", doubling up as understudy for the small part of Isaac Miller. The play had a successful run between 1955 and 1956 (461 performances) and this led to further acting work in diverse productions, ranging from musical comedy to straight dramatic parts, both on and off Broadway. Alan last appeared as a quaint curmudgeonly character in "Lake Hollywood" at the Signature Theater in 1999.
Suzanne Shepherd was an American actress and theater director. She is best known for her portrayal of Karen's overbearing mother in the film Goodfellas, Carmela Soprano's mother Mary De Angelis in the HBO television series The Sopranos, and the assistant school principal in Uncle Buck. Shepherd studied acting with Sanford Meisner, and later went on to teach Meisner's program of acting study, the first woman to do so. She was a founding member of the Compass Players in the early 1960s, along with such other actors as Alan Alda and Alan Arkin.

John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer-songwriter and occasional actor, whose career has spanned over 40 years. As of December 2010, Osbourne has sold over 100 million albums worldwide.
Osbourne rose to prominence as lead vocalist of the pioneering English heavy metal band Black Sabbath, a band whose radically different, intentionally dark, doom sound spawned the heavy metal genre. In his subsequent solo career Osbourne achieved a multi-platinum status in addition to the one he had earned with Black Sabbath. These things are what led Osbourne to become known as the "Godfather of Heavy Metal". It was during his Sabbath days that, due to their dark style of music, Osbourne became known as the "Prince of Darkness". Osbourne has over 15 tattoos, the most famous of which are the letters O-Z-Z-Y across the knuckles of his left hand. This was his first tattoo, created by himself as a teenager with a sewing needle and pencil lead.
In the early 2000s, Osbourne's career expanded to a new medium when he became a star in his own reality show, The Osbournes, alongside wife/manager Sharon and two of their three children, Kelly and Jack.

James Lorinz (born May 22, 1964) is an American writer/director/actor whose most famous roles include Street Trash, Frankenhooker and The Jerky Boys. He has also had smaller parts in Last Exit to Brooklyn, Robocop 3 and King of New York.
Lorinz was born in Flushing, Queens, close to Shea Stadium and the 1968 World's Fair Grounds. Lorinz worked as a dispatcher at his father's short-lived car service company while a student at School of Visual Arts in New York City.
While still a film student and aspiring writer, James became close friends with author Pete Hamill.
