After a comet disrupts the rain cycle of Earth, the planet has become a desolate, barren desert by the year 2033. With resources scarce, Kesslee — head of the powerful and evil Water & Power Corporation, the de facto government — has taken control of the water supply. Unwilling to cower under Kesslee's tyrannical rule, a pair of outlaws known as Tank Girl and Jet Girl rise up, joining the mysterious rebel Rippers to destroy the corrupt system.

Lori Petty (born October 14, 1963) is an American actress, director, and screenwriter. She made her big screen debut appearing in the 1990 comedy film Cadillac Man and later starred in films Point Break (1991), A League of Their Own (1992), Free Willy (1993), The Glass Shield (1994) and played the title role in Tank Girl (1995). She created and starred in the short-lived Fox sitcom Lush Life in 1996 and acted in number of independent and smaller-scale movies in later career.
In 2008, Petty wrote and directed independent drama film The Poker House based on her early life during the 1970s. In 2014 she joined the Netflix comedy-drama series, Orange Is the New Black as Lolly Whitehill as a guest star in the second season, and a recurring character in the third, fourth and seventh seasons.

Malcolm McDowell is an English actor with a career spanning over forty years. McDowell is principally known for his roles in the controversial films Caligula, If...., O Lucky Man! and A Clockwork Orange. His versatility as an actor has led to his presence in many films and television series of different genres, including Tank Girl, Star Trek Generations, the TV serial Our Friends in the North, Entourage, Heroes, Metalocalypse, animated film Bolt and the 2007 remake of Halloween and the 2009 sequel Halloween II. He is also well known for his narration of the seminal 1982 documentary, The Compleat Beatles.
Tracy Morrow (born February 16, 1958), better known by his stage name Ice-T, is an American musician and actor.
He was born in Newark, New Jersey and moved to district Crenshaw, Los Angeles, California when he was in the 7th grade. After graduating from high school he served in the United States Army for four years.
He began his career as a rapper in the 1980s and was signed to Sire Records in 1987, when he released his debut album Rhyme Pays. The next year, he founded the record label Rhyme Syndicate Records (named after his collective of fellow hip hop artists called the Rhyme Syndicate) and released another album, Power. He co-founded the thrash metal band Body Count, which he introduced in his 1991 album O.G.: Original Gangster. Body Count released its self-titled debut album in 1992. Jeff Kober (born December 18, 1953) is an American actor, known for his television roles as Dodger in China Beach, Jacob Hale Jr. in Sons of Anarchy, Joe in the fourth season of The Walking Dead, and Kurt Nypo in Walker: Texas Ranger. He is also known his movie roles such as Roy Gaddis in Out of Bounds (1986), Patrick Channing in The First Power (1990), Marcus in One Tough Bastard (1995), and as Ponoma Joe in A Man Apart (2003). In February 2020, Kober joined the cast of ABC's General Hospital as Cyrus Renault. He exited the role in June 2021, but has made occasional guest appearances from August to December of the same year, winning a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his performance in the role in 2022.

Don Patrick Harvey II is an American actor and voice actor. Harvey was born and raised in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, the sixth of eight children. He started acting in high school. He did several shows before graduating and moving on to the University of Michigan where he studied English and Economics and did two years of classical ballet. He then attended the Yale School of Drama and received a Masters of Fine Arts in Acting.
Harvey began appearing in films in the late '80s and has appeared in over 30 feature films. He had secondary roles in such high-profile productions as Casualties of War (1989), Die Hard 2 (1990), and The Thin Red Line (1998), in addition to the made-for-cable feature Better Off Dead (1993). One of his more prominent screen roles was "Black Sox" conspirator Swede Risberg in John Sayles' Eight Men Out (1988). His television work includes starring performances on Miami Vice, NYPD Blue, The Pretender, Medium, and Numb3rs.

Iggy Pop (born James Newell "Jim" Osterberg, Jr.; April 21, 1947) is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and occasional actor. He is considered an influential innovator of punk rock, hard rock, and other styles of rock music. Pop began calling himself "Iggy" after his first band in high school (for which he was drummer), The Iguanas. He was lead singer/songwriter of influential protopunk band The Stooges and became known for his outrageous and unpredictable stage antics.
Pop's popularity has ebbed and flowed throughout the course of his subsequent solo career. Doug Jones (born May 24, 1960) is an American actor, contortionist, and mime artist. He is best known for portraying non-human creatures, usually via heavy make-up and visual effects. American actor BoJesse Christopher was born and raised in San Francisco, CA. He was named after legendary blues guitarist Bo Diddley and infamous cowboy outlaw Jesse James. BoJesse is best known for his portrayal of Grommet / LBJ, the reckless younger brother of Patrick Swayze in the 20th Century Fox classic original feature film Point Break, directed by Academy Award winner Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty), released in 1991. In 2016, he also appeared in the Warner Bros. $100 million dollar re-imagined Point Break directed by Ericson Core, as the director of the FBI.

Fletcher took dance lessons as a child. At the age of 15, she appeared on the show Salute to the Superstars; later she moved to California, where she was trained by Joe Tremaine. She worked as a choreographer and worked in this capacity for six years with Jeff Andrews. The duo worked among other things on television work and music videos.
In her first film roles Fletcher appeared as a dancer, including The Flintstones (1994), The Mask (1994) and Tank Girl (1995). She developed choreography for the Oscar-nominated film drama Boogie Nights (1997) with Mark Wahlberg, Burt Reynolds, Julianne Moore and Heather Graham – in which she appeared herself as a dancer – as well as for the comedy A Life Less Ordinary with Ewan McGregor and Cameron Diaz.

Franklin Wendell Welker (born March 12, 1946) is an American voice actor with an extensive career spanning nearly six decades. As of 2021, Welker holds over 860 film, television, and video game credits, making him one of the most prolific voice actors of all time. With a total worldwide box-office gross of $17.4 billion, he is also the third highest-grossing film voice actor of all time.
Welker is best known for voicing Fred Jones in the Scooby-Doo franchise since its inception in 1969, and Scooby-Doo himself since 2002. In 2020, Welker reprised the latter role in the CGI-animated film Scoob!, the only original voice actor from the series in the movie's cast. He has also voiced Oswald the Lucky Rabbit in Epic Mickey and its sequel, Megatron, Galvatron and Soundwave in the Transformers franchise, Shao Kahn and Reptile in the 1995 Mortal Kombat film, Curious George in the Curious George franchise, Garfield on The Garfield Show, Nibbler on Futurama, the titular character in Jabberjaw, Speed Buggy in the Scooby-Doo franchise, Astro and Orbitty on The Jetsons, Mushmouse on Punkin' Puss & Mushmouse, and various characters in The Smurfs as well as numerous animal vocal effects in many works.
