Steven Robert Weber is an American actor and comedian. He is best known for his role as Brian Hackett on the television series Wings, voicing Charlie B. Barkin in All Dogs Go to Heaven: The Series, and portraying Jack Torrance in the TV miniseries adaptation of Stephen King's The Shining.
Weber was born on March 4, 1961, in Briarwood, Queens, New York. He is the son of Fran (Frankel), a nightclub singer, and Stuart Weber, a nightclub performer, and Borscht Belt comic and manager. He began his acting career in high school, appearing in several productions. After graduating from high school, he attended the High School of the Performing Arts in New York City and graduated from New York State University at Purchase.
Weber's first major acting role was in the 1987 film Hamburger Hill. He then went on to appear in a number of other films, including The Flamingo Kid (1984), The Kennedys of Massachusetts (1990), and The Shining (1997).
In 1990, Weber began starring as Brian Hackett on the television series Wings. The show ran for eight seasons and was a critical and commercial success. Weber's performance on the show earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy.
In 1994, Weber began voicing Charlie B. Barkin in the animated series All Dogs Go to Heaven: The Series. He continued to voice the character until the show ended in 1996.
In 1997, Weber starred in the TV miniseries adaptation of Stephen King's The Shining. He played Jack Torrance, the role made famous by Jack Nicholson in the 1980 film. Olympia Dukakis (June 20, 1931 – May 1, 2021) was an American actress. She performed in more than 130 stage productions, more than 60 films and in 50 television series. Best known as a screen actress, she started her career in theater. Not long after her arrival in New York City, she won an Obie Award for Best Actress in 1963 for her off-Broadway performance in Bertolt Brecht's Man Equals Man.
She later moved to film acting and won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe, among other accolades, for her performance in Moonstruck (1987). She received another Golden Globe nomination for Sinatra (1992) and Emmy Award nominations for Lucky Day (1991), More Tales of the City (1998) and Joan of Arc (1999). Dukakis's autobiography, Ask Me Again Tomorrow: A Life in Progress, was published in 2003. Debra Monk (born February 27, 1949) is an American actress, singer, and writer, best known for her performances on the Broadway stage. Monk has received a Tony Award and Emmy Awards. Monk was born in Middletown, Ohio. She was voted "best personality" by the graduating class at Wheaton High School in Silver Spring,Maryland. She graduated from Frostburg State University in 1973. In 1975, Monk received a Master of Fine Arts degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Monk garnered first attention in theatrical circles as one of the co-writers and co-stars of the 1982 musical Pump Boys and Dinettes. She has won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for performance in Redwood Curtain (1993). She also was nominated an Tony Award for roles in Picnic (1994), Steel Pier (1997), and Curtains (2007). In 2000, she has won Obie Award for The Time of the Cuckoo. In 1999, she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her work on The Practice, and she was awarded the Women in Film Lucy Award. In 2005, she earned Golden Globe and Emmy nominations for her work in the miniseries Elvis.

Jbara was born in Nankin Township (now Westland), Michigan, the son of an advertising office manager and an insurance claims adjuster. He is of Lebanese and Irish descent.After graduating from Wayne Memorial High School in Wayne, Michigan, Jbara attended the University of Michigan from 1979 to 1981. He majored in Communication Studies and took classes in Theatre and Musical Theatre. He left Michigan to attend the Juilliard School's drama division (1982–1986, Group 15), where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
