One night Nancy Lyon awakes in pain and dies shortly after - poisoned with arsenic. Her family immediately suspects her husband Richard, who left her temporarily the year before because of an affair. Richard Earl Thomas (born June 13, 1951 height 5' 8½" (1,74 m)) is an American actor, best known as budding author John-Boy Walton in the CBS drama The Waltons. During his career, Thomas won an Emmy Award, and received nominations for another Emmy Award and two Golden Globe Awards.

Glynnis O'Connor (born November 19, 1955) is an American actress, perhaps best-known for her work in the mid-1970s, including her lead actress roles in the TV version of Our Town and the films Ode to Billy Joe and Jeremy, all of which co-starred Robby Benson.
O'Connor was born in New York City, the daughter of stage, film and TV actress Lenka Peterson and Daniel O'Connor, a film producer. She appeared in the 1976 tearjerker, the John Travolta - Diana Hyland feature film, The Boy in the Plastic Bubble. As of the late 1990s and continuing into 2004, she has had a recurring role as Anne Paulsen on Law & Order. Michael Genevie (born September 30, 1959) is an American stage, film and television actor who was the Executive and Artistic Director of the Abbeville Opera House, the official drama state theatre of South Carolina, from 1979 to 2018.
Genevie was born and raised in West Virginia and graduated in 1976 from the Florida State University School of Theatre, where he earned an MFA in Directing. He began his professional acting and directing career immediately after an Internship at the renowned Actors Theatre of Louisville and has been the Director of the Abbeville Opera House for more than twenty five years.
Genevie has been seen in over 75 feature films, television series and movies of the week.
Under Genevie's direction, the Abbeville Opera House has twice received the South Carolina Governors Travel Award for Tourism. He is listed in the Abbeville County Hall of Fame for his many contributions to the revitalization of the community. The Abbeville Opera House opened its doors in October 1908.
