A television program is interupted by a news network announcing that three meteors have hit the United States, France and China. At first it seems natural but after interviews by scientists and eyewitness seems to suggest that it is not. Three more meteors are coming and the various Earth governments combine forces to stop them.

Jane Frances Kaczmarek (born December 21, 1955) is an American actress. She is best known for playing the character of Lois on the television series Malcolm in the Middle. Kaczmarek is a three-time Golden Globe and seven-time Emmy Award nominee. She lives in San Marino, California.

To a younger audience he is perhaps best known as DCI Peter Sterling in Spycraft: The Great Game.

He won the 1985 Genie Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for his role in The Bay Boy and earned two other Genie best actor nominations as well as a Gemini Award nomination.

Mário Machado (born Mário José de Souza Machado; April 22, 1935 – May 4, 2013) was a Portuguese-Chinese-American television and radio broadcaster and actor. He made television history when, in 1970, he became the first American of Chinese heritage to be an on-air television news reporter and anchor in Los Angeles and perhaps in the nation.

Saida Rodriguez Pagan is an American award-winning journalist and an actress, of Puerto Rican heritage. She began her on-camera career as a television reporter and anchor in Colorado Springs, CO. Saida has appeared on-camera in Hartford, Los Angeles, Fresno and in the Washington, DC area. As a newscaster, she has won a number of awards including a team coverage Emmy and two Golden Mikes.
In January of 1987, she got her first acting break playing a newscaster in an episode of Cagney and Lacey. Since then, Saida has appeared in 45 television episodes, 10 movies, and in dozens of industrial films. She's appeared in major motion pictures such as Bruce Almighty, and People vs. Larry Flynt, and has had recurring roles in television series such as Medium and The West Wing.
She has also done voice-over work and has a appeared in print ads and in commercials.
Marnie McPhail Diamond is a well-known American-born Canadian actress and musician. She is famous for her roles as Maria Wong in Braceface, Annie Edison in The Edison Twins, and Peaches in JoJo's Circus.
McPhail was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, U.S. She later moved to Toronto, Ontario, where she attended the Etobicoke School of the Arts. When she was 14 years old, she got her first major role as Annie Edison in the children's television series The Edison Twins (1982).
On the set of Scared Silent (2002), McPhail met her husband, Reed Diamond, and they have been happily married since 2004. Both McPhail and her husband are members of the rock band "Chuck Valiant," with McPhail as the lead singer and Diamond playing the guitar.
