Prabhu is an Indian film actor and producer who has predominantly appeared in Tamil language films. He is the son of veteran actor Sivaji Ganesan, while his own son Vikram Prabhu is also an upcoming Tamil actor.

M. Nassar is an Indian film actor, director and producer, who mainly works in the South Indian film industry. He is the incumbent president of the Nadigar Sangam. Nassar made his acting debut in K. Balachander's Kalyana Agathigal (1985) portraying a secondary supporting role, before moving on to play villainous roles in S. P. Muthuraman's Velaikaran (1987) and Vanna Kanavugal. He played the protagonist in Yuhi Sethu's Kavithai Paada Neramillai, though his breakthrough role came through his performance as a police officer in Mani Ratnam's Nayakan. He subsequently became a regular in Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan's ventures, appearing in pivotal character roles in Roja, Thevar Magan (1992), Bombay (1994) and Kuruthipunal (1995). Nassar made his directorial debut with Avatharam (1995), a film based on the backdrop of a folk art troupe. The film won critical acclaim, but failed to become a commercially successful venture.

Vijayakumar is an Indian Tamil actor and politician. He has started his filmy career in 1961 from the movie Sri Valli as a child Actor. He became popular in the seventies. He has started playing a lead role from the movie Aval Oru Thodar Kathai (1974) then he worked in Madhurageetham (1977) and Azhage Unnai Aarathikkiren (1979). He has acted in a few Hindi, Malayalam and Telugu movies. He also works in television serials like Thangam, Vamsam, Talambralu and Nandini. Popular films of Vijayakumar are Agni Natchathiram (1988), Kizhakku Cheemayile (1993) and Anthimanthaarai (1996). He has worked in more than 400 films in Tamil and Telugu Cinema. He has performed roles of lead role, negative role, supporting role and villain in various movies.

Sujatha (10 December 1952 – 6 April 2011) was a South Indian actress who performed in Malayalam, Tamil,Telugu, Kannada and Hindi language films, and was best known for restraint and subtlety in portrayal of varied emotions. Sujatha was introduced to the Tamil film industry by veteran director K. Balachander as a protagonist in Aval Oru Thodar Kathai (1974).She paired with Kamal Haasan in most of her films. She also acted with leading actorsSivaji Ganesan, Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Shobhan Babu and Krishna. She died of cardiac arrest in Chennai.

Goundamani (born Subramani Karuppaiya) is an Indian film actor and comedian. He is better known for his comic duo partnership in Tamil films with fellow actor Senthil. His real name "Mani" got the "Counter" prefix for his ability to give counter on the spot and off the script on stage and during shooting which eventually evolved into Goundamani as per Bhagyaraj who was writing scripts and title credits for Bharathiraja in his early days during the movie 16 Vayathinile. While performing roles of a solo comedian in films, he often co-starred with Senthil to form a comedy duo. The pair was described as "Tamil cinema's Laurel and Hardy" and have performed slapstick humour in several Tamil films since the mid-1980s until the early 2000s. After recuperating from diabetes and respiratory illnesses during the late 2000s, he is about to feature in Vaaimai and also play the lead role in 49-O, which began productions in 2013. It is being directed by debutant Arokiadoss, a former assistant of Gautham Vasudev Menon. The Film 49-O was released on 17 September 2015 and most of the critics gave positive reviews. He had a successful career that spanned over three decade thanks to his timing and ability to reinvent himself from comedian to character artiste to villain to second hero to comedic duo.

Vadivelu is an Indian film actor, comedian and playback singer. Since the 1990s, he has acted mainly as a comedian in Tamil films and is renowned for his slapstick comedies. Vadivelu has won several Filmfare and Tamil Nadu State Film Awards.
