Frank Vincent (August 4, 1939 - September 13, 2017) was an American actor, musician, author and entrepreneur. He was a favorite performer of director Martin Scorsese, having played important roles in three of Scorsese's most acclaimed films: Raging Bull (1980), Goodfellas (1990) and Casino (1995). He often played a gangster and worked both in features and television. He also lent his voice talents to video games. He played the New York Boss Phil Leotardo in the HBO series The Sopranos.

Michael Badalucco (born December 20, 1954) is an American actor most famous for his role as lawyer Jimmy Berluti on the ABC legal drama The Practice. He won the 1999 Emmy for Best Supporting Actor for his role on the show.
Badalucco, an Italian American, was born in Flatbush, Brooklyn, New York, the son of Jean, a homemaker, and Joe Badalucco, a set dresser, movie set carpenter and property person. His brother is Joseph Badalucco Jr., whose most notable role was Jimmy Altieri in the show The Sopranos.
He attended Xaverian High School in Brooklyn, graduating in 1972. He was the guest speaker at the 2005 commencement. He later attended SUNY New Paltz in New Paltz, New York.
He is married to Brenda Heyob.

Catherine Scorsese was an American actress and mother of filmmaker Martin Scorsese. Scorsese was of Italian descent and frequently played the role of an Italian mother. James Michael Imperioli (born March 26, 1966), commonly known as Michael Imperioli, is an Italian-American actor and television writer. He is perhaps best known for his role as Christopher Moltisanti on The Sopranos for which he won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2004. He also appeared as Det. Ed Green's temporary replacement, Det. Nick Falco, in the TV drama series Law & Order. Imperioli spent the 2008-2009 television season as Detective Ray Carling in the US version of Life on Mars. He was starring as Detective Louis Fitch in the new ABC police drama Detroit 1-8-7 until its cancellation.

Nicholas Turturro, Jr. (born January 29, 1962) is an American actor, best known for his role as James Martinez, on NYPD Blue from 1993 to 2000. Nicholas is the younger brother of actor, John Turturro and the cousin of actress, Aida Turturro. He received an Emmy Award nomination for playing James Martinez on the television series NYPD Blue and was on the series for its first seven seasons. His other notable roles include his role as Al Capone in the series The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles (1992-1993), his role as Brucie in The Longest Yard (2005), as well as his role as Sgt. His screenwriting credits include Summer of Sam, co-written with actor Michael Imperioli. and High Times' Potluck. Tony Darrow (born Anthony Borgese; October 1, 1938) is an Italian-American actor.
Darrow was born in the East New York section of Brooklyn. Darrow had plenty of opportunity to observe would-be mobsters and their attitudes while growing up in his neighborhood in Brooklyn. As a teenager, he gravitated towards show business, entering and winning talent shows while working odd jobs.
After ten years of singing in nightclubs, Darrow received an offer to appear in what turned out to be a cult film, Street Trash in which he played a mobster. Several months after Street Trash, Darrow was contacted by the film director Martin Scorsese. It turned out that Scorsese had seen Street Trash and wanted him to audition for a role in Goodfellas. He was successful and was cast as the owner of the Bamboo Lounge, Sonny. Darrow was also in the Woody Allen films Bullets over Broadway, Mighty Aphrodite, Deconstructing Harry, Small Time Crooks and Sweet and Lowdown.
In 1999, Darrow played a large role in Analyze This with Robert De Niro and Billy Crystal. The following year, he appeared in Mickey Blue Eyes with Hugh Grant, and got another big role as mobster Larry Barese in the HBO hit series The Sopranos, which he was on for the entire series run (1999–2007). More recently, Darrow starred in the independent film Lynch Mob.
Paul Herman (March 29, 1946 - March 29, 2022) was an American actor. Among other roles, he was known for playing Randy in David O. Russell's dramedy Silver Linings Playbook (2012) and Whispers DiTullio in Martin Scorsese's crime epic The Irishman (2019).
His other appearances in movies include Once Upon a Time in America, At Close Range, We Own the Night, Heat, Crazy Heart, Quick Change, Sleepers, Cop Land, The Fan, Analyze That, The Day Trippers, and American Hustle. He had a recurring role on The Sopranos as "Beansie" Gaeta, as well as another HBO series, Entourage, as Vincent Chase's accountant, Marvin.
Herman had also played minor background characters in two other Scorsese crime films. In Goodfellas, he was The Pittsburgh Connection, and in the montage sequence 'Back Home, Years Ago' in Scorsese's Casino, he was a gambler who rushes to the phone booth to place the same bet that Sam Rothstein (Robert De Niro) did.
In 2009's Crazy Heart, Herman played the manager of Jeff Bridges' character.
Herman, along with his brother Charlie, ran the Columbus Cafe in the 1990s. Located across from Lincoln Center, it was frequented by actors, ballet dancers, gangsters, and FBI and DEA agents. Herman also had a small ownership stake in the cafe, along with Mikhail Baryshnikov as well as other actors.
