From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Serena Harriet Scott Thomas (born 21 September 1961) is an English actress. Scott Thomas was born in Nether Compton, Dorset. Her mother, Deborah (née Hurlbatt), was raised in Hong Kong and Africa, and studied drama before marrying Scott Thomas' father. Her father, Lieutenant Commander Simon Scott Thomas, was a pilot for the British Royal Navy who died in a flying accident in 1964. She is the younger sister of actress Kristin Scott Thomas, the niece of Admiral Sir Richard Thomas (who was Black Rod in the House of Lords), and a more distant grand niece of Capt. Robert F. Scott, the ill-fated explorer who lost the race to the South Pole. Her last name is an amalgam of the last names of those two families. The Scott Thomases also trace their lineage to the 2nd Earl of Godolphin, the owner of the famous Godolphin Barb. Scott Thomas is known for her portrayal of the character Dr. Molly Warmflash in the 1999 James Bond film The World Is Not Enough as well as appearing in the 1993 TV film Harnessing Peacocks, based on the novel by Mary Wesley. She played a watcher in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode "Revelations", and starred in 2001's short lived series All Souls. Scott Thomas has also played Bruce Willis' wife and Rumor Willis' mom in Hostage and appeared on hit television shows like Nip/Tuck and N.C.I.S. She was married to Scott J. Born in Burnage, Manchester in 1953, David Threlfall is a celebrated actor of stage, film and television. In the latter, he is perhaps best known as the feckless Frank Gallagher in Channel 4's Shameless. In 1994 whilst working on a production of The Count of Monte Cristo at the Royal Exchange, Manchester, Threlfall met Bosnian actress Brana Bajic and the pair subsequently married a year later.
Jemima (Jemma) Rebecca Redgrave (born 14 January 1965) is a fourth-generation English actress of the Redgrave family. She played the title character in four series of Bramwell. As well as a career in television, she has appeared in many onstage productions and on film, including her portrayal of Evie Wilcox in the BAFTA-award winning Merchant Ivory adaptation of Howards End. She is the daughter of actor Corin Redgrave and his first wife Deirdre Hamilton-Hill. They divorced when Jemma was nine. She is the granddaughter of Sir Michael Redgrave and Rachel Kempson, and the niece of actresses Vanessa Redgrave and Lynn Redgrave, and cousin of Joely Richardson, Carlo Nero and Natasha Richardson.
William Franklyn was a British actor, perhaps best known for voicing the "Schhh... You Know Who" adverts for Schweppes from 1965 to 1973. He also performed on stage, film, television and radio, taking over from Peter Jones as "The Book" (the narrator) in the third, fourth and fifth radio series of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. He is also known for his portrayal of Sexton Blake for BBC Radio 4 in 1967.

She is best remembered for her television roles as hard-faced matriarch Mary Hammond in the 1970s BBC drama The Brothers and as rebellious aristocrat Lady Jocelyn "Joss" Holbrook in the 1980s Second World War series Tenko . She is also notable for playing the role of the Mother in The Railway Children in two separate BBC adaptations in 1951 and 1957.
