After making a name for herself on the West Coast, a defense lawyer returns to her hometown of Atlanta to argue a controversial rape-murder case. James Christopher Read (born July 31, 1953) is an American actor.
Read was born in Buffalo, New York. He started acting as a student of the University of Oregon where he graduated in 1976. He studied acting in New York and then did several off Broadway and regional theatres such as The Denver Center Theatre Company, where he had a couple of leading roles and spent three seasons.
Read is perhaps best known for his role as George Hazard in the three North and South TV miniseries (1985, 1986 and 1994) based on the John Jakes trilogy of novels of the same name, and for his co-starring role in the movie Beaches. Read is married to actress Wendy Kilbourne, whom he met on the set of North and South. He had a recurring role on The WB series Charmed as Victor Bennett and was also a regular during the first season of Remington Steele. Currently, he may be seen as Ken Davis in the ABC family drama Wildfire.
In 1998, he also earned his Masters Degree in psychology from Pepperdine University.

Barbara Rush (January 4, 1927 - March 31, 2024) was an American Golden Globe Award-winning movie and television actress. In 1954, Rush won the Golden Globe Award as most promising female newcomer for her role in the 1953 American black-and-white science fiction film, It Came From Outer Space. Later in her career, Rush became a regular performer in the television series Peyton Place, and appeared in TV movies, miniseries, and a variety of other programs, including the soap opera All My Children, as well as starring in films including Bigger Than Life, The Young Philadelphians, The Young Lions, Robin and the 7 Hoods and Hombre.
Ray McKinnon (born November 15, 1957) is an American actor, screenwriter, film director and producer. He was married to actress and producer Lisa Blount from 1998 until her death on October 25, 2010 . He graduated with a degree in Theatre from Valdosta State University.
Along with his wife, McKinnon won the Academy Award in the category Live Action Short Film in 2001 for The Accountant. The film was produced by Ginny Mule Pictures, a company founded by himself, Lisa Blount and Walton Goggins. Ray currently lives in Little Rock, Arkansas, the hometown of his late wife.
Tom Nowicki is an American actor who has appeared in several feature films, television series, mini-series and movies of the week. He is a member of the Actors' Equity Association and the Screen Actors' Guild who is best remembered for his lead appearance on RollerJam (1999–2001) and also appeared in the television pilot of L.A. Confidential. Nowicki received his Bachelor of Arts degree of Yale University in 1979 and received dramatic training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 1987. He also spent time as a professional wrestler from 1983 to 1986 as "Lord Larry Oliver" in the Dixie Wrestling Alliance.[2] Among his many television appearances as either a guest star or recurring roles, his lengthiest role as a regular came from 1999 to 2001 as a lead on The New TNN's (now Spike TV's) modern-day roller derby program RollerJam as "Kenneth Loge III", the World Skating League general manager, Florida Sundogs manager and subsequent league commissioner who stood for moral decency and campaigned against sex and violence in the league. He also portrayed Kenneth's twin brother "Leonard Loge III", a world traveler who was more of a free spirit and also managed the Sundogs and had the hots for skater Lindsey Francis. Among the motion pictures he has appeared in, Nowicki starred opposites Denzel Washington in Remember The Titansas well as The Blind Side with Sandra Bullock.
