Biagio Anthony Gazzarra (August 28, 1930 – February 3, 2012), known as Ben Gazzara, was an American film, stage, and television actor and director. His best known films include Anatomy of a Murder (1959), Voyage of the Damned (1976), Inchon (1981), Road House (1989), The Big Lebowski (1998), Happiness (1998), The Thomas Crown Affair (1999), Summer of Sam (1999), Dogville (2003) and Paris, je t'aime (2006). He was a recurring collaborator with John Cassavetes, working with him on Husbands (1970), The Killing of a Chinese Bookie (1976) and Opening Night (1977).
As the star of the television series Run for Your Life (1965-1968), Gazzarra was nominated for three Golden Globe Awards and two Emmy Awards. He won his first, and only, Emmy Award for his role in the television film Hysterical Blindness (2002).

Barbara K. Whinnery (born July 1, 1953) is an American actress from Berkeley, California, best known for the role of Dr. Cathy Martin on the television drama St. Elsewhere. She has made guest appearances in several other television shows and has also appeared in movies and on stage.
She trained at the Actor’s Conservatory Theater in San Francisco (where her classmates included her future St. Elsewhere co-stars Denzel Washington and Cynthia Sikes ), and with Milton Katselas. She currently is a studio faculty member at The Acting Place in Los Angeles, California.

Beatrice Whitney Straight (August 2, 1914 – April 7, 2001) was an American theatre, film, and television actress. Hers remains the shortest acting performance in a film to win an Oscar. In her winning role in the 1976 film Network, she was on screen for five minutes and forty seconds. She also received an Emmy nomination for her role in The Dain Curse. Straight can also be recognized as Dr. Lesh in Poltergeist.

Holland Virginia Taylor (born January 14, 1943) is an American actress. She won the 1999 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Judge Roberta Kittleson on ABC's The Practice (1998–2003). For her portrayal of Evelyn Harper on the CBS comedy Two and a Half Men (2003–15), she received a total of four Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
Taylor's other notable television credits include starring roles on the sitcoms Bosom Buddies (1980–82), The Powers That Be (1992–93) and The Naked Truth (1995–98). Paul Hamilton Williams Jr. (born September 19, 1940) is an American composer, singer, songwriter, and actor. He is known for writing and co-writing popular songs performed by a number of acts in the 1970s, including Three Dog Night's "An Old Fashioned Love Song" and "Out in the Country", Helen Reddy's "You and Me Against the World", Biff Rose's "Fill Your Heart", and the Carpenters' "We've Only Just Begun" and "Rainy Days and Mondays".
Williams is also known for writing the score and lyrics for Bugsy Malone (1976) and his musical contributions to other films, including the Oscar-nominated song "Rainbow Connection" from The Muppet Movie, and writing the lyrics to the #1 chart-topping song "Evergreen", the love theme from the Barbra Streisand film A Star Is Born, for which he won a Grammy for Song of the Year and an Academy Award for Best Original Song. He wrote the lyrics to the opening theme for the television show The Love Boat, with music previously composed by Charles Fox, which was originally sung by Jack Jones and, later, by Dionne Warwick.

Louise Troy (November 9, 1933 — May 5, 1994) was an American actress of stage and screen. She is best known for her performances in Tovarich (1963) and Walking Happy (1966), both of which she was nominated for a Tony Award. Her signature stage role was that of the lead in High Spirits (1964).
She studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and made her Broadway debut in the musical Pipe Dream. She received critical acclaim for her role opposite Edward Woodward in the 1964 musical High Spirits, which was based on Noël Coward's comedy, Blithe Spirit. She was a three-time Tony Award nominee and was also known for her guest appearances on the television show Hogan's Heroes, on which her then husband Werner Klemperer starred as "Colonel Klink". She appeared in three other television shows, Room 222, Kate and Allie and Honey West. In the 1970s, she appeared on CBS television's daytime drama The Guiding Light, twice, as Audrey Frost Mills in 1974 and as Gladys Shields in 1978. Troy also appeared in two movies, Yours, Mine and Ours and The Swimmer.

Chiefly famous for his role as Stanley in Vinnie and Bobby in 1992 he also had a host of other guest appearances in popular television to his name including providing the voice for "Bleeding Gums" Murphy in The Simpsons. He also starred in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as a Klingon chef. He also originated the role of Audrey II in the original Off- Broadway production of Little Shop of Horrors. Taylor's acting debut was in the 1983 comedy Trading Places where he was credited as Big Black Guy. Ron married Deborah Sharpe and they stayed married till his death, and they had a child named Adamah together.[1] The date they married is unknown.
He was also a writer for Forever Knight (1992) and The Sentinel (1996). On January 16, 2002 Taylor died of a heart attack at the age of 49. The Simpsons episode "Sweets and Sour Marge" was dedicated to him.

Donald Bruce Stewart (November 14, 1935 – January 9, 2006) was an American actor best known for his long-running role as attorney Mike Bauer on Guiding Light. Stewart appeared on Guiding Light from 1968 to 1984, with a brief return appearance in 1997.
Although born in Staten Island, New York, Stewart spent his youth in Norfolk, Nebraska. He served six years as a pilot in the United States Air Force. He also later served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Naval Reserve.
Stewart studied opera in New York City and landed a job as an understudy to Robert Goulet in the Broadway production of Camelot. After landing the role of Mike Bauer on Guiding Light, Stewart continued to perform in musical theater and nightclubs. Prior to Guiding Light, he appeared on numerous episodes of the 1960's television series Dragnet.
After leaving Guiding Light, Stewart relocated to California, where he made guest appearances in a number of television series, including L.A. Law, Highway to Heaven, and Knots Landing. He also provided the voice of Clem in the 1991 film Rover Dangerfield. His final public appearance was in a 2001 episode of JAG.
Although a nonsmoker, Stewart died of lung cancer in Santa Barbara, California at age 70. He was survived by his second wife and two daughters from his first marriage.
