Racist police officer Jack Moony has a vendetta against Napoleon Stone, a charismatic black lawyer who is sleeping with Jack's old flame Crystal Gerrity. Jack has a heart attack, but his life is saved when he receives Stone's heart, since Stone died mysteriously the same night as Jack was stricken. Stone is not completely gone, however, and as a ghost he is all too happy to give Jack advice on how he should do his job and live his life.

Robert William "Bob" Hoskins, Jr. (born October 26, 1942 – April 29, 2014) was an English actor, known for playing Cockney rough diamonds, psychopaths and gangsters, in films such as The Long Good Friday (1980), and Mona Lisa (1986), and lighter roles in Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) and Hook (1991).
Denzel Hayes Washington Jr. (born December 28, 1954) is an American actor, producer, and director. Known for his dramatic roles on stage and screen, he is widely regarded as one of the best actors of his generation, with The New York Times declaring him the greatest actor of the 21st century in 2020. Over his career, he has received several accolades, including two Academy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a Tony Award, as well as nominations for two Emmy Awards and a Grammy Award. Washington has been honoured with the Cecil B. DeMille Award in 2016, the AFI Life Achievement Award in 2019, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2022.
After training at the American Conservatory Theatre, Washington began his career in theatre, acting in performances off-Broadway. Washington directed and starred in the films Antwone Fisher (2002), The Great Debaters (2007), and Fences (2016).
On stage, he has acted in productions of both Coriolanus (1979) and The Tragedy of Richard III (1990) at the Public Theater. He made his Broadway debut in the Ron Milner play Checkmates (1988). He won the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play for his role as a disillusioned working-class father in the Broadway revival of August Wilson's play Fences (2010). He has also acted in the Broadway revivals of William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar (2005), Lorraine Hansberry's A Raisin in the Sun (2014), and Eugene O'Neill's play The Iceman Cometh (2018).

Chloe Webb (born June 25, 1956) is an American actress.
Webb was born in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, New York. Her New York theater debut was in the original cast of the long-running musical satire Forbidden Broadway. She received Best Actress award from the National Society of Film Critics for her film debut in the 1986 cult classic feature film Sid and Nancy, which was based on the relationship of the Sex Pistols bassist, Sid Vicious, and his girlfriend Nancy Spungen. Many independent films followed, most recently the film Repo Chick, directed by Alex Cox.
Two decades of spoken word and performance art include highlights including Hal Willner's Poe Show at St. Anne's Episcopal Church, De Sade,Burroughs,Poe with Sean Lennon, Steve Buscemi and Richard Hell at The ISSUE Project Room, Lou Reed's The Raven with Laurie Anderson and Fisher Stevens at St. Ann's Warehouse and Let's Eat: Feasting on the Firesign Theatre at Royce Hall with John Goodman, Todd Rundgren and Ralph Carney.

Webb may be better known to a larger American audience as a USO volunteer in the Emmy Nominated television series China Beach and as Danny DeVito's onscreen girlfriend in the 1988 movie Twins. Webb also played the part of Mona Ramsey in the PBS adaptation of Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City.

Max Landstein (born 20 April 1933) is a Scottish-American film and television actor. He is perhaps best known for playing the comic foil in multiple episodes of The Monkees, most notably as "Mr. Zero" in "The Devil and Peter Tork". He began his career in Britain before moving to the United States in 1963. He also had a career in Paris in the mid-50s as emcee in cabarets and jazz clubs (Crazy Horse, Club Saint-Germain, etc.) -he played his own role later in Charade (1963)- and choreographer for the French vocal group The Blue Stars of France.

Chiefly famous for his role as Stanley in Vinnie and Bobby in 1992 he also had a host of other guest appearances in popular television to his name including providing the voice for "Bleeding Gums" Murphy in The Simpsons. He also starred in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as a Klingon chef. He also originated the role of Audrey II in the original Off- Broadway production of Little Shop of Horrors. Taylor's acting debut was in the 1983 comedy Trading Places where he was credited as Big Black Guy. Ron married Deborah Sharpe and they stayed married till his death, and they had a child named Adamah together.[1] The date they married is unknown.
He was also a writer for Forever Knight (1992) and The Sentinel (1996). On January 16, 2002 Taylor died of a heart attack at the age of 49. The Simpsons episode "Sweets and Sour Marge" was dedicated to him.

Theresa E. Randle is an American stage, film and television actress.Randle also starred with Wesley Snipes in the film Sugar Hill (1994) and also appeared with Eddie Murphy in Beverly Hills Cop III the same year. She later appeared in Space Jam (1996) with Michael Jordan and the film adaptation of the comic book Spawn (1997).
In 2006, Randle signed on to play Patricia Kent on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, replacing Courtney B. Vance as the assistant district attorney assigned to the Major Case Squad, but only appeared in two episodes.

Francis Dayle "Chick" Hearn (November 27, 1916 – August 5, 2002) was an American sportscaster who was the play-by-play announcer for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association for 41 years. Hearn is remembered for his rapid-fire, staccato broadcasting style, associated with colorful phrases such as slam dunk, air ball, and no harm, no foul that has become common basketball vernacular. Hearn broadcast 3,338 consecutive Lakers games starting on November 21, 1965. Most of Hearn's games in the television era were simulcast on both radio and television, even after most teams chose to use different announcers for the different media.

For his work as stunt coordinator for the series 24, the show received a Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Stunt Coordination.
As an actor, he played the part of Sergeant Williger in The Ultimate Impostor, a 1979 science fiction / espionage film directed by Paul Stanley that starred Keith Andes, Macon McCalman, Erin Gray and Rosalind Chao. In 1984, he played the part of Andre in the series Hawaiian Heat that starred Robert Ginty and Jeff McCracken. In recurring acting roles he has had an ongoing role in the television series Baywatch playing the part of Jim Barnett and in that role he appeared in more than thirty episodes. Another recurring role he had was that of Jesper Isberg on the TV series 24.

Tommy (1943-2006) was born in Los Angeles to Harold and Betty Huff. He served in the United States Army where he started a professional boxing career, but left boxing to pursue a career as a Hollywood stunt man. Tommy was in hundreds of motion pictures as well as television and commercials.
