Dr. Kristine Lipton finds that something strange is happening in the hospital she works for when a friend is strangled by an elderly patient, who runs away but has an accident and dies. Melissa Ellen Gilbert (born May 8, 1964) is an American actress, writer, and producer, primarily in movies and television. Gilbert is best known as a child actress who co-starred as Charles Ingalls's (played by Michael Landon) second daughter, Laura Ingalls Wilder, on the dramatic television series Little House on the Prairie (1974–1984). As an adult, she has a very long list of acting, voicework, writing, producing, and directing credits. Melissa also served two terms as President of the Screen Actors Guild. On June 9, 2009, her autobiography Prairie Tale: A Memoir was released.

Jack Scalia (born Giacomo Tomaso Tedesco; June 10, 1950) is an American actor and producer. He has had many roles in television series, television movies, and feature films. He is perhaps best known for his role as Chris Stamp on All My Children from 2001 to 2003.
He is of Italian and Irish descent; his father was former Brooklyn Dodger Rocky Tedesco. His parents divorced and when his mother remarried his name was changed to Scalia. He was drafted third by the Montreal Expos in 1971 as a pitcher but he was injured and never played in the Major Leagues.
He began his career as a clothes model, most notably in a series of ads for Eminence briefs and Jordache jeans, both of which capitalized on his "beefcake" appeal. In 1982, to promote his TV series The Devlin Connection, he took off his shirt and posed, cigarette in hand, for a pin-up wall poster.
He was a regular cast member during the final season of Remington Steele in 1987, after which he joined the cast of Dallas in the role of Nicholas Pearce, love interest to Sue Ellen Ewing. His character was killed off at the end of the 1987–88 season when he fell to his death after being pushed from a balcony during a fight with J. R. Ewing. He returned to the series finale in a dream sequence in which he was married to Sue Ellen.
From 1989 to 1990, he starred in another tv series, the CBS crime drama Wolf. In 1992, he was cast as Detective Nico "Nick" Bonetti in the short-lived television series Tequila and Bonetti - he replaced another actor in the role during production of the show's first episode. Eight years later, in 2000, Scalia reprised the role of Bonetti in a revival of the series, which was filmed and aired in Italy.
In 1993, he portrayed Joey Buttafuoco in Casualties of Love: The Long Island Lolita Story, with Alyssa Milano as Amy Fisher. The footage was used in 2012 for Triple Fisher: The Lethal Lolitas of Long Island.
From 1994 to 1995, he starred in Pointman, a television series on the Prime Time Entertainment Network. He was an investment banker framed and convicted of fraud. When eventually cleared, Constantine "Connie" Harper becomes the owner of a Florida beach resort, Spanish Pete's, and aids people in need with the use of former prison mates and "the list".
He is also known for his role as Chris Stamp on All My Children from 2001 to 2003. He was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Lead Actor" in 2002. In 2005, he portrayed Charles Keefe in the film Red Eye, with Rachel McAdams and Cillian Murphy. In 2006, he starred as President Halstrom in The Genius Club for writer/director Tim Chey.

Pernell Elvin Roberts, Jr. (May 18, 1928 – January 24, 2010) was an American stage, movie and television actor as well as singer. In addition to guest starring in over 60 television series, he was widely known for his roles as Ben Cartwright's eldest son, Adam Cartwright, on the western series Bonanza, a role he played from 1959 to 1965 — and as chief surgeon Dr. John McIntyre, the title character on Trapper John, M.D. (1979–1986).
He was also widely known for his life-long activism, which included participation in the Selma to Montgomery marches in 1965 and pressuring NBC to refrain from hiring whites to portray minority characters.

Wendy Hughes (29 July 1952 – 8 March 2014) was an Australian actress known for her work in theatre, film and television. Hughes was an award-winning actress. Her career spanned more than forty years and established her reputation as one of Australia's finest and most prolific actors. Her biggest role was in Lonely Hearts, played in 1982 (this film was the beginning of a long collaboration with director Paul Cox). In her later career she acted in Happy New Year along with stars Peter Falk and Charles Durning. In 1993 she played Dr. Carol Blythe, M. E. in Homicide: Life on the Street. In the late 1990s, she starred in State Coroner and Paradise Road.

Marc Lawrence was an American character actor who specialized in underworld types. In 1930, Lawrence befriended another young actor, John Garfield. The two appeared in a number of plays before Lawrence was given a film contract with Columbia Pictures. Lawrence appeared in films beginning in 1931. Garfield followed, starting his film career in 1938. Lawrence's pock-marked complexion, brooding appearance and New York street-guy accent made him a natural for heavies, and he played scores of gangsters and mob bosses over the next six decades. Later, Lawrence found himself under scrutiny for his political leanings. When called before the House Un-American Activities Committee, he admitted he had once been a member of the Communist Party. He named Sterling Hayden, Lionel Stander, Anne Revere, Larry Parks, Karen Morley and Jeff Corey as Communists. He was blacklisted and departed for Europe, where he continued to make films. Following the demise of the blacklist, he returned to America and resumed his position as a familiar and talented purveyor of gangland types. He played gangsters in two James Bond movies: 1971's Diamonds Are Forever opposite Sean Connery, and 1974's The Man with the Golden Gun opposite Roger Moore. He also portrayed a henchman opposite Laurence Olivier in Marathon Man (1976) and a stereotypical Miami mob boss alongside Jerry Reed and Dom DeLuise in the comedy Hot Stuff (1979).

Larry Cedar (born March 6, 1955) is an American actor and a voice actor best known as one of the players of the highly-acclaimed Children's Television Workshop mathematics show, Square One TV on PBS from 1987 to 1994. Cedar is also known for playing "Leon", the opium addicted thief and faro dealer in the internationally acclaimed HBO series, Deadwood.
