Born David Charles Lawrence in Worthing, West Sussex, England, he migrated with his family to New Zealand in 1946, settling in New Plymouth before moving to Wellington in 1948.
Lawrence spent most of his life in New Zealand, but also worked extensively in Australia. He was a renowned jazz and rock drummer, playing drums in many bands, including Max Merritt & The Meteors, Quincy Conserve,Blerta, and The Crocodiles. His last recording was with Bernie McGann, Larry Gales and Jonathan Crayford on "Jazz at the St. James" in 1989.
In the early 1970s, Lawrence founded Blerta ("Bruno Lawrence's Electric Revelation and Travelling Apparition"). The multi and theatrical co-operative toured New Zealand and in parts of Australia. Blerta saw him performing alongside many people he would work with later as an actor, including director Geoff Murphy, and actors Martyn Sanderson and Ian Watkin.
Shane Briant was an English actor and novelist. Briant is best known for his roles in Hammer Films productions.

Kerry Armstrong (born 3 January 1958) is an Australian actress and author.
Armstrong spent one year on the American soap Dynasty playing Elena Duchess of Branagh. She began her television career as a weather girl in Melbourne before taking acting training in Melbourne and New York. She lived in the US from 1981 to 1987. In 1987, Armstrong returned to Australia upon the death of her grandmother. In the early 1990s, she resumed acting in Australian television series, including Police Rescue, Ocean Girl, Come In Spinner, All Together Now and Halfway Across the Galaxy and Turn Left. In 1991 Armstrong was nominated for an AFI award for Best Actress for her role in the film Hunting.
Kim Gyngell (born 15 April 1952), sometimes also credited as Kym Gyngell, is an Australian comedian and film, television and stage actor. Gyngell won the Australian Film Institute Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in 1988 for his role as Ian McKenzie in Boulevard of Broken Dreams.
Gary Waddell is an Australian actor. He was nominated for the 2012 AACTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his role in The King is Dead! and for an AFI award for his role in 1975 film Pure Shit.

Richard Carter (11 December 1953 – 13 July 2019) was an Australian actor and voice-over artist who appeared in several television series and independent films. Some of Carter's filmography includes Rabbit-Proof Fence, Hating Alison Ashley, Babe: Pig in the City, Happy Feet Two, Our Lips Are Sealed (with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen) and Mad Max: Fury Road. He died in the early hours of 13 July 2019 after a brief illness.
Terry Markwell is a retired American actress, best known for Mission: Impossible (1988), Robo Warriors (1996) and Grievous Bodily Harm (1988). She was active from 1986-1996.
John Allen (born December 4, 1944) is an Australian actor. After graduating from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in 1969, he initially established himself in theatre, appearing in some eighteen productions at the prestigious Melbourne Theatre Company. This was followed by a number of appearances with the Old Tote Theatre Company in Sydney, culminating with the opening season of the Sydney Opera House and a tour with the Company to London and the West End. After returning to Australia he continued to play a broad range of roles on stage, but also became known for his performances in film and on television. In an acting career spanning nearly four decades he was associated with many notable productions, but retired from performing in 2000.
