A young lawyer from London, Mr. Ashton, and his best friend are hiking across Dartmoor. When he twists his ankle, Ashton is forced to seek help at a nearby farmhouse and stays there for a few days. Innocent beauty Megan David catches the attention of Ashton. He decides to stay longer, and he and Megan fall in love, much to the displeasure of Megan's aunt and her loutish son.

Susannah York (9 January 1939 – 15 January 2011) was a British film, stage and television actress. She was awarded a BAFTA as Best Supporting Actress for They Shoot Horses, Don't They? (1969) and was nominated for an Oscar and Golden Globe for the same film. She won best actress for Images at the 1972 Cannes Film Festival. In 1991 she was appointed an Officier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. Her appearances in various hit films of the 1960s formed the basis of her international reputation,and an obituary in The Telegraph characterised her as "the blue-eyed English rose with the china-white skin and cupid lips who epitomised the sensuality of the swinging Sixties". Kenneth Colley (born 7 December 1937) is an English actor. A long-time character actor, he came to wider prominence through his role as Admiral Piett in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
Colley was born in Manchester. He played Jesus (very briefly indeed) in The Life of Brian, having also appeared in the earlier Monty Python-related production Ripping Yarns episode "The Testing of Eric Olthwaite" alongside Michael Palin. As a Shakespearean actor he played the Duke of Vienna in the BBC Television Shakespeare production of Measure for Measure in 1979.
Colley also held an important role in the Clint Eastwood movie Firefox, where he played a Soviet Colonel tasked with the protection of the Firefox and its secrets.
Colley went on to play SS-Standartenführer Paul Blobel in the World War II drama War and Remembrance. His character was charged with hiding the evidence of the Holocaust, and putting dead victims through "Economic Processing".
According to comments Terry Gilliam (who directed him in Jabberwocky and co-starred with him in Life of Brian) made in the DVD audio commentaries for both films, Colley is a terrible stutterer in real life. When he had a role in a film, however, he could recite the lines perfectly. Stuttering is a character trait, however, in his role as the "Accordion Man" in the 1978 BBC television drama, Pennies from Heaven. He has also recently starred in BBC's HolbyBlue as a drunk and violent father, grandfather and father-in-law.
He currently lives at Hythe in Kent.

Jerome Patrick Flynn is an English actor and singer. He is best known for his roles as Bronn on the hit HBO series Game of Thrones, Paddy Garvey of the King's Fusiliers on the ITV series Soldier Soldier, Fireman Kenny 'Rambo' Baines on the pilot of London's Burning, and Bennet Drake on Ripper Street.
He and his Soldier Soldier co-star Robson Green also performed as Robson & Jerome in the later half of the 1990s. They released a version of "Unchained Melody", which stayed at number 1 for 7 weeks on the UK Chart, selling more than a million copies and becoming the best-selling single of 1995. The duo had two further number 1 singles: "I Believe" and "What Becomes of the Brokenhearted". Their eponymous debut album and the follow-up Take Two both reached number 1 on the UK Albums Chart.

Camilla Joy Cynthia Power (born November 13, 1976) is an Irish-born English actress. She is best known for her appearances in the television series Emmerdale and Waterloo Road.
Power was born in Cork, Ireland, and is a distant cousin of the actor Tyrone Power. Her great-grandfather was Sir John Power, Member of Parliament for Wimbledon before the Second World War. She attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School in Marylebone, and started acting from an early age; her first TV appearance was on a chicken nuggets commercial, and an early screen role was as Sabina Halliday in A Summer Story (1988).
Power appeared in Channel 4’s The Manageress in 1990 and played Jill Pole in BBC Television’s The Silver Chair (1990), an adaptation of the book by C. S. Lewis. She also had parts in Bonjour la Classe (1993) and Moonacre (BBC, 1993), the last calling for skill at horse-riding. From 1993 to 1995 she was a regular cast member on the Yorkshire Television soap Emmerdale, playing Jessica McAllister.
