John Daniel Tooz Matuszak was an American football defensive lineman in the National Football League and also an actor. Matuszak was born in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. He attended the University of Tampa and played for their football team. Matuszak also played for the Houston Oilers of the NFL and joined the Houston Texans of the World Football League, but never played for them. His first major role as an actor was in the 1979 movie "North Dallas Forty" as a football player. He also appeared in the movies "Caveman", "The Ice Pirates", and "One Crazy Summer" but is known for his role in "The Goonies". He also had guest appearances on popular TV shows "Perfect Strangers", "M*A*S*H", "The Dukes of Hazzard", "Hunter", "Silver Spoons", "The A-Team", "1st & Ten", "Miami Vice" and "Cheers". He died on June 17, 1989 aged 38 due to a heart failure.

Bruce Paul Abbott (born July 28, 1954) is an American actor. He has appeared in movies such as Re-Animator, Bad Dreams, The Prophecy II, Out of Time, and Bride of Re-Animator, and the TV series Dark Justice. Abbott's career began as a dancer/actor in the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Oregon, where he spent three seasons in the late 1970s. In 1980, Abbott relocated from Portland to Hollywood ("in the middle of the actors' strike, and I didn't know Anyone," he recalls). Shortly afterwards, he was cast as the villain in the movie Tag: The Assassination Game. He met his future (first) wife, Linda Hamilton on the set. The union produced one child, Dalton Bruce (born October 4, 1989) (who can be seen in Terminator II as "Infant John Connor"). Bruce and Linda divorced circa 1989. That same year, on the Dallas, Texas, set of the TV movie Trapped, Abbott met actress Kathleen Quinlan. They married April 12, 1994 and have 1 son, Tyler Quinlan (born October 17, 1990). Throughout his career, Abbott has been a guest star on many TV series Murder She Wrote, Family Law, Diagnosis: Murder, and more. He had a recurring role in the short-lived series The Net, based on the film of the same title starring Sandra Bullock. Abbott is semi-retired from acting. As a child, Hank Garrett was glued to the radio and would imitate the voices he heard. His favorite show was “Can You Top This?” He would listen to the resident dialectician and master storyteller named Peter Donald to write down all the jokes he heard in a little book. He continued to regale family and friends with his budding comedy act. At the age of sixteen, he began a career working as a comedian in resort hotels. His first television acting job of major importance was Patrolman Ed Nicholsonon “Car 54, Where Are You?” He also provided a number of trick voices and dialects for radio commercials. Then he auditioned and got the job doing the voices for Fluffy and Fast Eddie on the animated “Here Comes Garfield” show. Soon after, Hank had the honor of providing the voice for the new G.I. Joe Communications Specialist: Dial-Tone on the “G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero” animated series. This popular character appeared in the “G.I. Joe: Arise, Serpentor, Arise" mini-series as well as more than twenty-four of the syndicated episodes. He also reprised his voice acting role for Dial-Tone on the animated "G.I. Joe: The Movie".
