Dennis Henry Burkley (September 10, 1945 – July 14, 2013) was an American actor. In a career spanning four decades, he appeared in numerous films and television series. Burkley was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of Imogene (née Ware) and Henry Burkley. He grew up in Grand Prairie, Texas, and graduated from Texas Christian University.
Dan Mason is an American actor who has appeared in film, television, and theater. He is best known for his role as Lord Kril in the 1984 science fiction film The Last Starfighter.
Mason was born in New York City in 1951. He began his acting career in the early 1970s, appearing in several off-Broadway productions. He made his film debut in the 1977 film The Bad News Bears Go to Japan.
Mason has appeared in numerous films and television shows over the course of his career. Some of his other notable credits include Star Trek: The Next Generation, Law & Order, and The Practice.
Mason is also a successful stage actor. He has appeared in productions of Shakespeare, Chekhov, and Tennessee Williams. He has won several awards for his stage work, including a Drama Desk Award and an Outer Critics Circle Award.
John Wesley Shipp (born January 22, 1955) is an American actor known for his various television roles. He played the lead Barry Allen on CBS's superhero series The Flash from 1990 to 1991, and Mitch Leery, the title character's father, on the drama series Dawson's Creek from 1998 to 2001. Shipp has also played several roles in daytime soap operas including Kelly Nelson on Guiding Light from 1980 to 1984, and Douglas Cummings on As the World Turns from 1985 to 1986 (which earned him his first Daytime Emmy Award). In 2014, he was cast as Barry Allen's father Henry on the current The Flash series on The CW network.
Lin attended the University of Michigan, where she was an Art History major, although acting in as many University productions as possible, including "Bye Bye Birdie" and "On The Town". After U of M, she attended Columbia University School of the Arts, and acquired a Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting. She stayed in New York upon graduation and worked in numerous off- and off-off- Broadway productions, as well as Lincoln Center and Broadway. She has studied with some of the finest: Uta Hagen, Stella Adler and Lee Strasberg. Lin is a lifetime member of the Actors Studio. She is also the younger sister of producer Robert Shaye.
