Kate Soffel is married to a prison warden in Pittsburgh, and is the mother of their four children. Ed Biddle is a convicted murderer awaiting execution on death row with his brother Jack. When Kate meets Eddie through her Bible readings to the prisoners, she is drawn to him, and they pursue a clandestine relationship. She agrees to help the brothers escape, and begins a treacherous journey with them to freedom in Canada.

Sometimes credited as Dana Wheeler Nicholson, she has appeared in numerous movies, but is probably best known for her role in Fletch as Gail Stanwyk (wife of the villain and love interest of the title character played by Chevy Chase) and in Tombstone (1993) as Mattie Blaylock (Wyatt Earp's common law wife). Her most recent movie role was in Fast Food Nation (2006). She has also appeared in several TV series including Seinfeld, Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Sex and the City, Boston Public, Boston Legal, Friday Night Lights, and most recently The Good Guys.

Victoria Satya Vanderkloot (Born 1955) is a former American stuntwoman and actress. She also played one of the Lizzies in Walter Hill's Cult Classic The Warriors. She has since retired from stunt work and is now a Yoga Instructor based in California.
