From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Roberta Maxwell (born 1942) is a Canadian actress. She began studying for the stage at the age of 12. She joined John Clark for 2 years as the child co-host of his Junior Magazine series for CBC Television, before becoming the youngest actress apprentice at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Stratford, Ontario, ready to pursue an acting career, where she appeared as Ursula in Much Ado About Nothing, Lady Anne in Richard III, Olivia in Twelfth Night, and Anne in The Merry Wives of Windsor, before going on to England, where she spent three years in repertory. She made her West End debut with Robert Morley and Molly Picon in A Majority of One. She debuted on Broadway in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie in 1968, going on to five more plays with the Tyrone Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis. In 1974 she was back on Broadway playing the role of Jill in Equus, which starred Anthony Hopkins. In 1982, she starred as Rosalind in the Stratford Festival's stage production of Shakespeare's As You Like It, a production which was videotaped and telecast on Canadian television in 1983. Those, and many more plays, took her on to a successful television and film career. In 2009 and 2010 she appeared in two episodes of the Syfy series Warehouse 13. Was an American actress, perhaps best known for her portrayal of Bernice Edgar in Alfred Hitchcock's film Marnie (1964). Most of her work has been on television, including appearances on The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, Perry Mason, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Hawaii Five-O, Murder, She Wrote, Designing Women (as Perky, the mother of Julia and Suzanne Sugarbaker), and The X-Files. Latham was also the first person to learn the real circumstances of Dr Richard Kimble's wife's death in the final episode of The Fugitive (1967). She has also appeared in the films Mass Appeal (1984) and Love Field (1992). Latham's Broadway theatre credits include a 1956 revival of Major Barbara, Invitation to a March (1960), and Isle of Children (1962). Thomas N. "Tom" Hill (June 2, 1927 – April 20, 2009) was an Indian-American character actor and director on stage for decades before starting in film in the mid-1960s and on television in the 1980s. Born in India in 1927, one of Hill's most prominent recurring roles was as Jim Dixon on the 1980s TV series Newhart. Hill also appeared as King Baaldorf in the short-lived 1980s series Wizards and Warriors. His TV movie roles include Father Andrew Doyle in the 1984 NBC miniseries V: The Final Battle. He had guest appearances on such shows as St. Elsewhere, Remington Steele, The Facts of Life, Married... with Children, Coach, and Law & Order. Hill's first feature film performance was in the 1965 film The Slender Thread Other film credits include The Postman Always Rings Twice, Firefox (1982), and was well known of his role as Mr Coriander, the bookstore owner in The NeverEnding Story, as well as the 1990 sequel followup. He died in April 20, 2009, aged 81 in Bloomington, Indiana.
