Richard St John Francis Harris (October 1, 1930 – October 25, 2002) was an Irish actor and singer. He appeared on stage and in many films, notably as Corrado Zeller in Michelangelo Antonioni's Red Desert, Frank Machin in This Sporting Life, for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor, and as King Arthur in the 1967 film Camelot, as well as the 1981 revival of the stage musical.
He played an English aristocrat captured by the Sioux in A Man Called Horse (1970), Oliver Cromwell in Cromwell (1970), an embattled Irish farmer in Jim Sheridan's The Field (which earned him a second Academy Award nomination for Best Actor), English Bob in Clint Eastwood's revisionist Western Unforgiven (1992), Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius in Gladiator (2000), The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) as Abbé Faria, and Albus Dumbledore in the first two Harry Potter films: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001) and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002), the latter of which was his final film role. Harris had a number-one singing hit in Australia, Jamaica and Canada, and a top-ten hit in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and the United States with his 1968 recording of Jimmy Webb's song "MacArthur Park". In 2020, he was listed at number 3 on The Irish Times's list of Ireland's greatest film actors.
Katherina Freiin Schell von Bauschlott (born 17 July 1944, in Budapest) is an Hungarian-born actress best known for her work in England with the BBC.
Schell rose to fame in various British film and television productions in the 1960s and 1970s. She acted under the name Catherine von Schell early in her career, but is better known by the name Catherine Schell.

Gwilym Meredith Edwards was a Welsh character actor and writer.
He was born in mining village of Rhosllannerchrugog, near Wrexham, the son of a collier. He was educated at Ruabon Grammar School. He became an actor in 1938, firstly with the Welsh National Theatre Company, then the Liverpool Playhouse.
His film appearances include "A Run for Your Money" (1949), "The Blue Lamp" (1950), "The Magnet" (1950), "The Lavender Hill Mob" (1951), "The Cruel Sea" (1953), "The Great Game" (1953), "The Long Arm" (1956), "Dunkirk" (1958) and "Tiger Bay" (1959). He appeared as the murderous butler in the cult television series "Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)" in 1969, and as Tom in the cult children's science fiction serial "Sky" in 1975. He also played Richard Lloyd in the 1981 TV series "The Life and Times of David Lloyd George".
Primarily a classical stage actor, Julian Glover trained at the National Youth Theatre, performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company and became a familiar face to British television viewers by appearing in many popular series during the 1960s and 1970s. His talent for accents and cold expression made him an ideal choice for playing refined villains. Denise Bryer (born 5 January 1928) is an English voice actress.
Best remembered in her UK homeland for her work on the Gerry Anderson series, Terrahawks, where she voiced both the main villain Zelda and the heroic Capt. Mary Falconer, Bryer became well known in the United States when she voiced Billina in Disney's 1985 film Return to Oz, as well as The Junk Lady in the 1986 movie Labyrinth, and many other films. In addition to her work voice acting in film and television she also worked extensively on UK radio and children's recordings. She was the first wife of Nicholas Parsons.
Bryer first came to public attention when she voiced Twizzle in Gerry Anderson's The Adventures of Twizzle and would go on to voice in Anderson's later series Four Feather Falls as Ma Jones and Little Jake. She also voiced Kiki The Frog in Hector's House and Noddy on the eponymous television show. She dubbed the voice of Commander Makara in the Japanese puppet series Star Fleet around the same time as Terrahawks. In Big Finish's Doctor Who audio dramas The Reaping and The Gathering, she provided the voice of Dominique Van Gyseghem.

Michael Hammond Bates was an Indian-born English actor. He was educated at Uppingham School in Rutland and St Catharine's College, Cambridge.
Bates served as a Major serving with the Brigade of Gurkhas in Burma before his discharge at the end of World War II. In 1953, while an ensemble member with the Stratford Festival in Stratford, Ontario, he appeared in Richard III and All's Well That End's Well. In 1956 he appeared in Hotel Paradiso which starred Alec Guinness, at the Winter Garden Theatre in London.
He appeared in many UK television series including Last of the Summer Wine from 1973 to 1975 as Cyril Blamire and It Ain't Half Hot Mum from 1974 to 1977 as Rangi Ram, as well as many others. His role as Rangi Ram caused some controversy as it required Bates to be made-up with fake tan to look like an Indian, which he took to naturally as he was born in India and spoke the Hindi language fluently. On radio he played a variety of characters in the BBC's long-running comedy series The Navy Lark. These were: Able Seaman Ginger, Lt. Bates, Rear Admiral Ironbridge, the Padre and Captain Ignatius Aloysius Atchison.
Bates' film roles include Battle of Britain (1969) as Warrant Officer Warwick, Oh! What a Lovely War (1969) as a Lance-corporal, Patton (1970) as Field Marshal Sir Bernard Law Montgomery (to whom he bore a striking resemblance), Frenzy (1972) by Alfred Hitchcock, and the Stanley Kubrick film A Clockwork Orange (1971). On stage, he did Shakespeare at Stratford and the Old Vic and made a big impression as Inspector Truscott in the West End production of Loot by Joe Orton in 1966. He died of cancer in Cambridge, aged 57.

Nancy Nevinson (26 July 1918 – 25 January 2012) was an India-born English actress. Nevinson was born in Chittagong, East Bengal, British India.
Nevison worked on stage, in film and on television. She also dubbed voices for both young and old. She appeared in the films Foxhole in Cairo (1960), Light in the Piazza (1962), Mrs. Gibbons' Boys (1962), Ring of Spies (1964), The Spy Who Came in from the Cold (1965), For the Love of Ada (1972), Symptoms (1974), Jesus of Nazareth (1977), S.O.S. Titanic (1979), Le Pétomane (1979), Raise the Titanic (1980), Young Sherlock Holmes (1985), and Mrs Dalloway (1997).
In 2001, she moved to Wokingham, to a retirement home funded by the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund especially for film- and TV-personalities. Nevinson died there on 25 January 2012, aged 93.

David Prowse, MBE (July 1, 1935 – November 29, 2020) was an English former bodybuilder, weightlifter and actor, most widely known for playing the role of Darth Vader in physical form. In Britain, he is also remembered as having played the Green Cross Code man. Prowse is a native of Bristol, where he attended Bristol Grammar School.
