Duke Johnson visits a small Southern town, intent on burying his brother. After the funeral, he learns that he must stay for 60 days, for the estate to be processed. A few locals convince Duke to reopen his late brother's nightclub, and soon the local redneck policemen are intimidating Duke with threats of violence. Duke refuses to pay the bribes they demand, so then he and his lady friend Aretha are threatened and attacked by the crooked cops. Rather than take them on himself, Duke calls on his old pal Roy. Roy brings a few buddies to Bucktown, and they bring justice to the small town. With the redneck cops out of the way, Duke lets his guard down. Then the situation gets out of hand again. Finally, Duke must settle the score himself.

Described by Quentin Tarantino as cinema's first female action star, she achieved fame for her starring roles in a string of 1970s action, blaxploitation, and women in prison films for American International Pictures and New World Pictures. Her accolades include nominations for an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, a Satellite Award, and a Saturn Award.
Grier came to prominence with her titular roles in the films Coffy (1973) and Foxy Brown (1974); her other major films during this period included The Big Doll House (1971), Women in Cages (1971), The Big Bird Cage (1972), Black Mama, White Mama (1973), Scream Blacula Scream (1973), The Arena (1974), Sheba, Baby (1975), Bucktown (1975), and Friday Foster (1975). She portrayed the title character in Quentin Tarantino's crime film Jackie Brown (1997), and also appeared in Escape from L.A. Thalmus Rasulala (November 15, 1939 – October 9, 1991) was an African American actor who was an original cast member of ABC's soap opera One Life to Live from its inception in 1968 until he left the show in 1970.
Born as Jack Crowder in Miami, Florida, he appeared in many films and made guest appearances in TV shows. Notable roles include Lt. Jack Neal in One Life to Live, Roy in Bucktown, Blake Tarr in Friday Foster, Bill Thomas in What's Happening!!, and Omoro Kinte (Kunta Kinte's father) in Roots. He also appeared in The Twilight Zone, All in the Family, The Jeffersons, Sanford and Son, Good Times, Star Trek: The Next Generation, The Sophisticated Gents.
His last acting role was as General Afir in Mom and Dad Save the World with Teri Garr and Jeffrey Jones. He died shortly after completing his scenes, and the film, released after his death, is accordingly dedicated to his memory.
He died on October 9, 1991, from heart failure in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at age 51.

Tierre Turner (born January 7, 1960) is an American actor and stuntperson who began his career as a child actor in the 1970s. His feature film debut was the horror film People Toys (1974), followed by the television drama film The Runaways (1975). Turner also had supporting roles in several blaxploitation films in the 1970s, including Bucktown and Friday Foster (1975), both starring Pam Grier. He also portrayed the lead role of Lucas Adams on the television series The Cop and the Kid opposite Charles Durning from 1975 to 1976.
Since the 1980s, Turner has worked extensively as a stunt performer and stunt coordinator on a variety of feature films, including Training Day (2001), Stuck on You (2003), and The Three Stooges (2012).

He was best known for playing Apollo Creed in the Rocky series of films. He also played Dillon in the first Predator movie, Chubbs Peterson in Happy Gilmore and Little Nicky, Magistrate Greef Karga in The Mandalorian, and played a fictionalized version of himself in the television series Arrested Development.
