From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Scott Brady (September 13, 1924 – April 16, 1985) was an American film and television actor. Born as Gerard Kenneth Tierney, he was the younger brother of fellow actor Lawrence Tierney. Brady served in the Navy during World War II, where he was a boxing champ. After being discharged, he supported himself as a lumberjack, and began taking acting classes; he began his film career soon afterward. Brady specialized in tough-guy roles in films like He Walked by Night, Canon City and Johnny Guitar. He appeared twice on the long running TV western The Virginian in the 1960s. He appeared regularly on the 1970s cop show, Police Story. He played lead to Clint Eastwood's third billing in Ambush at Cimarron Pass, which Eastwood is quoted as saying was "probably the lousiest western ever made." His last film role was in the 1984 movie Gremlins. He played Shirley Feeney's father Jack Feeney in episode 32 of Laverne & Shirley which aired on February 15, 1977. He also starred in the western TV show Shotgun Slade from 1959-61. Brady died from pulmonary fibrosis at the age of 60. Other sources have the cause as emphysema. After a short career in vaudeville, Mayo progressed to films and during the 1940s established herself as a supporting player in such films as The Best Years of Our Lives (1946) and White Heat (1949). She worked extensively during the 1950s, but after this her appearances were fewer. She worked occasionally until her final performance in 1997. Hugh Marlowe (January 30, 1911 – May 2, 1982) was an American film, television, stage and radio actor. Marlowe was born Hugh Herbert Hipple in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and began his stage career in the 1930s at the Pasadena Playhouse in California. Marlowe was usually a secondary lead or supporting actor in the films he appeared in. His films included Meet Me in St. Louis (1944), Twelve O'Clock High (1949), All About Eve (1950), The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951), Howard Hawks' Monkey Business (1952), Earth vs. the Flying Saucers (1956), Elmer Gantry (1960), Birdman of Alcatraz (1962) and Seven Days in May (1964). Marlowe was also a regular on the daytime television soap opera, Another World, the last of four actors to portray Matthews family patriarch Jim Matthews, from 1969 until his death from a heart attack, at age 71, in 1982. Her most recognizable role was as maid Rosario Salazar in the NBC comedy television series Will & Grace, which she played from 1999 to 2006. She was also a regular performer on the sitcom The Flying Nun, playing Sister Sixto, a nun known mostly for mangling the English language; and had a recurring role in the soap opera General Hospital in 1982.
