Zsa Zsa Gabor (1917–2016) was a Hungarian-American actress and socialite. She began her stage career in Vienna and was crowned Miss Hungary in 1936. She emigrated from Hungary to the United States in 1941.
Dora May Bryan OBE was an English actress of stage, film and television. Born Dora May Broadbent, her career began in pantomime as a child actor. In World War II she joined the ENSA in Italy to entertain British troops.
After having established herself as a versatile stage actress, covering everything from drama and comedy to musicals, she started to appear in film in the late 1940s, and in 1968 she even had her own TV series, "According to Dora". At one point in her career she was Britain's highest-paid star.
She was active on stage until the mid 1990s and continued to work in film and television until 2005, when she finally had to give up the acting profession as she could no longer remember her lines.
Her autobiography According To Dora was published in 1987. In 1996, she was awarded an OBE in recognition of her services to acting and the same year she was also awarded the Laurence Olivier Award for her role in the West End production of the Harold Pinter play "The Birthday Party".
She was married to British cricket player Bill Lawton from 1954 to his death in 2008. She lived in a nursing home in Hove, outside Brighton, until her death in 2014.

Ballard Berkeley made his professional stage debut in 1928, and performed for many years in London's West End and in New York theatres. He is best remembered as Major Gowen in the British television series "Fawlty Towers" (1975).
Jennifer Jayne (14 November 1931 – 23 April 2006) was an English film and television actress.
Her name at birth was Jennifer Jones, which she altered in order to avoid confusion with Jennifer Jones, the Hollywood actress. She was born in Yorkshire to theatrical parents.
Her film debut was a minor walk-on in Once a Jolly Swagman (1948), followed by The Blue Lamp (1949). Both of these starred Dirk Bogarde and she also appeared in the mystery The Black Widow, in 1951, with Anthony Forwood, Bogarde's lifelong partner.
After guest appearances in the television series The Adventures of Robin Hood (1956), The Adventures of Sir Lancelot (1956), Sword of Freedom (1957), and Danger Man (1961), she was cast as the hero's wife in the next historical adventure series from the film-making division of Lew Grade's The Adventures of William Tell.
She was a romantic lead in Raising the Wind (1961), set in a music academy; she was also the leading lady in a Norman Wisdom vehicle, On the Beat (1962).
She married art director Peter Mullins in 1958; they remained married until her death in 2006.
