From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jane Withers (April 12, 1926 – August 7, 2021) was an American actress, model, and singer. Beginning a prolific career as a child actress at the age of 3, Withers was a Young Artist Award–Former Child Star "Lifetime Achievement" Award honoree, best known for being one of the most popular child film stars of the 1930s and early 1940s, as well as for her portrayal of "Josephine the Plumber" in a series of TV commercials for Comet cleanser in the 1960s and early 1970s, and probably best known for playing the obnoxious Joy Smythe in the film Bright Eyes, where she paired with Shirley Temple.

With appearances in over 100 major motion pictures, Darwell is perhaps best-remembered for her portrayal of the matriarch and leader of the Joad family in the film adaptation of The Grapes of Wrath, for which she received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, and her role as the Bird Woman in Mary Poppins. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Cecil Lauriston Kellaway (22 August 1890 – 28 February 1973) was a South African-born character actor. Cecil Kellaway spent many years as an actor, author, and director in the Australian film industry until he tried his luck in Hollywood in the 1930s. Finding he could get only gangster bit parts, he got discouraged and returned to Australia. Then William Wyler called and offered him a part in Wuthering Heights (1939). Kellaway died 28 February 1973 in Hollywood, California, and his ashes were entombed in the Sanctuary of Remembrance, at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery. He received two Best Supporting Actor nominations, for The Luck of the Irish and Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. Academy Award winning actor Edmund Gwenn, whose real surname was Kellaway also, was his cousin.
